Automatic pill dispenser perfect for those unable to follow a complex dosing schedule. This dispenser will prevent double dosing as only the current dosage is accessible. It holds 28 doses of medication and can dispense from 1 to 4 times per day. Each dispensing compartment can hold up to 9 M&M size pills.
All the user has to be able to do:
1. Hear the alarm and know what it means.
2. Go to the unit and slide open the door.
3. Take the pills out and swallow them.
That's it. The door will shut automatically, and the unit will then go off at the next needed time.
- The alarm sounds until door is opened. The amount of time that the alarm continues is adjustable.
- Alarm sound now comes standard as a Lower Frequency which is much easier to hear
- Approx. 11" in diameter. Each compartment is 1" x 0.5 " x 0.75"
- One year manufacturer's warranty
Safety
MedReady conveniently utilizes AC power, but in the event of an outage or short-term travel, switches automatically to included rechargeable batteries which continue to operate the unit for up to 48 hours.
Security
MedReady is tamper-resistant to provide the maximum in security. Instead of employing a latch, our system utilizes a real lock and key, and the edges are secure. With access by key-only, caregivers can load MedReady and monitor patient compliance. Medication can not move from one compartment to the next if the unit is tipped.
Useable Clock
The extra large LED read-out is easily viewed from any angle and is self-illuminating so it can be seen in any light.
Medication Card Holder
MedReady provides a card holder on the bottom of the unit for a printed copy of the prescriptions for all medications in the dispenser.
Easy-to-Set Alarms
Setting the timers and alarms is as easy as setting a digital alarm clock.
We carry 3 model types each with an optional flashing light. All models operate as described above but the 1750 & MR-357 models have the option for a monthly monitoring service.
All models come with: A/C Adapter, Rechargeable Battery, Removable Medication Tray, Blue Locking Lid, 2 keys, and loading rings for 3x and 4x per day dosing.
1700 & 1700FL - Standard models - these models only have one difference the 1700FL has a flashing light - light will flash when alarm sounds.
1750 & 1750FL - Has all the features as the 1700 & 1700FL but also has an option for a monthly monitoring service. The monitoring service will have a low monthly fee but the monitoring service is not necessary for the unit to operate. These 2 models will also come with a telephone cable - to utilize the monitoring service you will need to hook the pill dispenser to a phone line. The MedReady 1750 series communicates via Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) to MedReady's servers. When medication is ready the unit will sound a buzzer to notify the patient that the medication is ready. Opening the medication door disables the alarm. With the monthly monitoring service - if the medication is not taken the dispenser signals MedReady's servers which will send an alert via email, text message, and place automated phone calls to caregivers. You will also have access to a complete compliance log which can be viewed at anytime on the compliance website. There is a small monthly monitoring fee. This unit can function without the monitoring service but you will not receive notification when medication has not been taken. The only difference between the 1750 & 1750FL is the 1750FL also has a flashing light - light will flash when alarm sounds.
MR-357 & MR-357FL - Similar to the 1750 series model but instead of using a phone line this series uses cellular service to monitor the device. You do not need a cellular phone but you will need to confirm your location receives a cellular signal. To use the monitoring service there will be a low monthly fee. All medication compliance events and device settings are sent real time via cellular networks. With this series of medication dispenser you can remotely change alarm times, trigger early doses, and set all device settings from the comfort of your home, or smart phone. If the medication is not taken the dispenser signals MedReady's servers which will send an alert via email, text message, and place automated phone calls to caregivers. You will also have access to a complete compliance log which can be viewed at anytime on the compliance website.
Although the 1750 & MR-357 series of medication dispensers do come with the option of having a monitoring service - the monitoring service is not required for the dispensers to work.
